Parts of Galactic Starcruiser are returning from a galaxy far, far away – at least, for a little while.

It’s been less than a year since Disney decided to close its doomed Star Wars hotel. Galactic Starcruiser may have impressed with its immersive roleplaying experiences, allegedly receiving the best reviews of any experience the company has ever offered, but it struggled financially after its opening – rarely filling entire voyages – leading Disney to bid a permanent adieu to the hotel on September 30, 2023.

While it remains a mystery what – if anything – Disney plans to do with the space in Walt Disney World Resort previously occupied by Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, it seems like not all elements of the hotel are gone for good. Disney has just confirmed plans to temporarily restore one teeny, tiny part of the experience.

According to Disney Parks Blog, Disneyland will start serving drinks previously exclusive to Galactic Starcruiser at its Star Wars themed bar Oga’s Cantina in Galaxy’s Edge.

Drinks and drinkware from Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser are debuting at Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland during Season of the Force, April 5-June 2: The Silver Sea Martini and Fiery Mustafarian + Chandrilan Chalice and Chandrilan Orb Glass.

These drinks – which include the Fiery Mustafarian and the Silver Sea Martini – will be served in souvenir glassware (either the Chandrilan Chalice or the Chandrila Star Line) previously only found in the Star Wars hotel. The fictional voyages guest embarked upon on the Galactic Starcruiser were through the Chandrila Star Line’s Halcyon starcruiser.

This comes as a part of Disneyland’s Season of the Force, an annual Star Wars celebration that runs from April 5 to June 2, 2024, after which point we’ll presumably say goodbye to the tiny pieces of Galactic Starcruiser we have left. Other highlights of the celebration include a limited-edition Jabba the Hutt popcorn bucket and Grogu Sipper, galactic snacks throughout Disneyland Park, and a Star Wars overlay for Space Mountain known as Hyperspace Mountain.

Disneyland Resort will also host Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite on select nights, where guests will be able to meet multiple rare characters from within the franchise. Previous years have seen appearances from the likes of Princess Leia, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, Rey, Padmé Amidala, and Anakin Skywalker.

There have previously been theories that Disney could resurrect Galactic Starcruiser on a larger scale than glassware. Towards the end of the hotel’s tenure, Disney circulated surveys gauging interest in transforming it into a day experience. In recent months, it has also filed permits for construction at the hotel’s former site on the outskirts of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
