Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is one of the most exciting animated and superhero films to come out in years. Naturally, fans want to know when the next installment will be coming to theaters, especially after that cliffhanger. While there still isn’t any exact date announced for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (2025), there’s still plenty of multiversal goodness coming to cities across the globe.
Spider-Verse producer Christopher Miller recently announced on his X (formerly Twitter) account that the film is getting a live concert tour in the near future.

“EXCITING! Across the Spider-Verse is going to have a live-concert tour! It’s and incredibly special way to see the film, with a live orchestra, DJ, and guests! Stay tuned for when it comes near your town…”
The post was accompanied by a video naming some of the cities the tour will hit, including Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Dallas, and Orlando. The video also promised that the concert would come to even more venues worldwide.

This marks the second time a Spider-Verse film is getting a tour, with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) traveling around the world as recently as October 2023.
While no official date has been given, it’s safe to assume that the tour will begin sooner rather than later, especially since Beyond the Spider-Verse has been delayed past its original 2024 release date.
What is ‘Across the Spider-Verse’?
For those who don’t know, Across the Spider-Verse is one of the most critically acclaimed and popular animated superhero films of all time. Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, the film has become recognized for its iconic comic book art style, impeccable animation, gripping story, and gorgeous music composed by Daniel Pemberton.
The film stars Shameik Moore (Miles Morales), Hailee Steinfeld (Gwen Stacy), Jake Johnson (Peter B. Parker), Brian Tyree Henry (Jefferson Davis), Oscar Isaac (Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099), Issa Rae (Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman), Jason Schwartzman (The Spot), and Daniel Kaluuya (Hobie Brown/Spider-Punk).

The film was the sixth highest-grossing movie of 2023 and is currently a frontrunner for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. However, it faces stiff competition from The Boy and the Heron (2023), Nimona (2023), Robot Dreams (2023), and Elemental (2023).
