When people think of Disney World, many think about the Disney bubble.

The Disney bubble is the area in which Disney property remains in Orlando, Florida. Because of the Walt Disney World Resort’s sheer size, Disney is basically its own functioning city, the size of San Francisco. So, when you are in the bubble, you are constantly in the most magical place on earth, always interacting with cast members.

People often choose to stay on the property because it is in the “Disney bubble”. While it is often more costly, Disney is known for their excellent service, magical touches, and high-level safety. Guests staying at Disney do not have to worry about how they will get to the park as transportation is complimentary, and the magic does not end when you leave Magic Kingdom.

Walt Disney World offers an enchanting array of rides and activities, providing a magical experience for guests of all ages. Adventure seekers can embark on thrilling journeys through iconic attractions like Space Mountain, where they hurtle through the cosmos in a high-speed rollercoaster adventure. For those seeking a whimsical escape, Fantasyland boasts classic attractions such as Peter Pan’s Flight, inviting guests to soar above Neverland in a pirate ship suspended from the air.

The park is not just about heart-pounding rides; it also caters to those looking for a dose of nostalgia and storytelling. Haunted Mansion takes guests on a ghostly tour through a haunted estate, while Pirates of the Caribbean immerses them in a swashbuckling adventure. Meanwhile, the iconic Cinderella Castle stands as a symbol of enchantment, housing the enchanting Cinderella’s Royal Table restaurant, where guests can dine like royalty.

Beyond the rides, Walt Disney World offers a spectrum of activities. EPCOT, known for its celebration of human achievement and international culture, hosts the annual EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, allowing guests to embark on a culinary journey around the world. The daily parades, character meet-and-greets, and mesmerizing nighttime spectaculars, like Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom, add an extra layer of magic to the overall experience. Walt Disney World truly captures the essence of imagination, adventure, and wonder, making it a destination where dreams come to life.

Additionally, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios bring guests from their own safari to their own movie, with a fantastic display of Mickey’s nightmares and dreams at the end of the night during Fantasmic!

While all of these magical descriptions may make it seem like nothing can ever go wrong, things can.

Of course, there are instances in which a ride can break down, or, as we have recently reported, the fire alarm can go off in your hotel room in the middle of the night, causing you to evacuate.

Recently, while not in the Disney bubble, a frightening gas leak was found very close to it.

In Orlando, a string of homes were recently privy to a gas leak. Click Orlando wrote, “The Orlando Fire Department’s hazmat team investigated a “difficult to locate” gas leak on Monday evening, according to a news release.”

This gas leak meant that hundreds had to evacuate their homes for safety. Thankfully, it appears no one has been injured by the gas leak, but it certainly is something that not only might be cause for alarm for residents of Orlando, but also Disney, as this happened very close to their theme parks.

We have seen Disney World have to evacuate their parks in the past, typically though this meant evacuating certain lands and areas. An example of this would be the recent evacuation at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, which took place at the wave pool after a group of teenagers pooped in the water. A gas leak, however, would be much worse.

While at Disney World, guests need not worry as guest safety is a main priority.
