An undated body cam video of a fight at Walt Disney World Resort re-sparked interest in theme park violence on social media this week. Multiple Orange County Sheriff officers and Disney Security cast members responded to the incident, which took place at the Magic Kingdom Park entrance.

What Happens if You Fight at Walt Disney World?

Walt Disney World Resort enacted a new “courtesy” policy to curb rising misbehavior last year. It explicitly warns guests that rulebreaking can result in expulsion from Disney Parks, Disney Springs, and Disney Resort hotels.

“Please show common courtesy to fellow Guests and our Cast Members by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive, or offensive behavior, jumping lines or saving places in lines for others,” the updated theme park rule reads. “For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from running except in designated areas.”

It continues: “We reserve the right to deny admission, prevent entry or require a person already admitted to leave the Walt Disney World Resort or any part thereof, without refund, liability or compensation, for failure to comply with any of these rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behavior, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances otherwise so require, in our sole and absolute discretion.”

This latest Disney Park fight isn’t the first to garner attention online. Last year, at least one Walt Disney World guest was arrested, and multiple sought medical attention following a brawl in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park.

The conflict allegedly began after one of the parties split up in line for Peter Pan’s Flight line. After using the bathroom, they returned to the queue, appearing to cut the other family in line. The verbal conflict began in line and escalated to a fistfight after the ride.

Both families involved were immediately banned from Walt Disney World Resort, though the non-inciting party was allowed to appeal the ban.

Though violence undoubtedly occurs throughout EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs, Magic Kingdom fights always gain the most attention online, perhaps because of the stark contrast between nasty fistfights and the magical world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.

Another bloody brawl broke out at the entrance to Magic Kingdom Park this summer. One family attacked another after allegedly refusing to move from a popular photo-op spot in front of the Walt Disney World Railroad station and accompanying Mickey Mouse topiary. Though both families were banned, little is otherwise known about this fight’s aftermath.

This week, TikToker @copscam22 shared three videos from a previously unreported Walt Disney World Resort fight. Though the exact date and time of the conflict is unknown, the videos appear to be a compilation of body cam footage from Orange County Sheriff deputies.

In the first video, multiple police officers and a Disney security cast member tried to stop the brawl as hundreds of guests exited Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. An officer noted that four guests were involved in the conflict.

“Stay down,” the officer yelled.

One guest’s family member tried to hold him back.

“Break it up,” another officer shouted. She grabbed one of the brawling guests, trying to pull them away from the fight. They screamed and cursed at her and each other.

At one point, the officer and a Disney Security cast member managed to take one of the guests aside.

“If you move, you’re going to be in big trouble,” the Disney cast member said.

Officers handcuffed two of the others involved, forcing them to sit on the ground. The parties continued yelling at each other, even after they were restrained. At the end of the first video, one of the men asked to go home.

In the second TikTok, fireworks went off in the background as one guest screamed at officers and refused to answer questions. They eventually handcuffed him shortly before one of his family members allegedly pinched an officer’s hand.

“Did you just pinch me?” the officer asked. “You just pinched me. We are under an investigation right now. He is going to cooperate with us… We are trying to defuse this… I could take you to jail right now for battery.”

Officers detained three men. Eventually, one of the men explained that he was fighting with his brothers after he paid for their family vacation.

In the third body cam compilation, officers let one of the men go after it’s determined that he was trying to defuse the conflict. One is arrested for affray and domestic battery, while the fate of the other detained man is unknown. Walt Disney World Resort didn’t publicly state whether the family was banned from the Central Florida Disney theme parks.
