And now, one of the most beloved vehicles is back taking Guests down Main Street U.S.A.
Guests have slowly been seeing attractions and experiences return, with the recent opening of Disneyland’s famous Monorail as well as the return of Disney buses.
Yesterday, Magic Kingdom Guests were treated to a special surprise – the return of the classic Disney Omnibus.
The brightly painted replica of the 1920s double-decker bus takes Guests down Main Street U.S.A. to reach the magic of the Magic Kingdom hub, allowing Guests a unique ride to Cinderella’s Castle.
During the phased reopening of the Disneyland theme park, the Omnibus was used as a cavalcade for characters to parade down Main Street and wave at Guests. Fan-favorite characters Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, Moana, Genie and more greeted Guests from around the Omnibus.
Now, Guests themselves can ride the bus! The vehicles are one of the many attractions that were present when the Park opened. They were the only way to ‘use up’ that A ticket if you didn’t want to ride the carousel.
TikTok user FrozenwithGina posted a video of the exciting Omnibus return:
Every day, the Disney Parks feel more like they used to before the pandemic. Here’s hoping for more announcements of future returns of magical experiences like this one.
