Disney Enchantment was set for a preview night on September 30, 2021, and officially debuts on Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary, October 1, 2021. Tonight, the nighttime spectacular will take place at 9 p.m.

And, as sad as Disney World fans are that Happily Ever After is over, they are certainly looking forward to Enchantment’s premiere. In fact, a few Magic Kingdom Park-goers began camping out for the new firework show shortly after the Magic Kingdom welcome show ended this morning, less than an hour after the theme park officially opened for the day.

Past 2 p.m., there were still Guests hanging out in the Hub grass and surrounding area, but it was not necessarily packed with people.

By 3 p.m., the area in front of Cinderella Castle looked like this: (As you can see, there are a few people camping out in their firework viewing spots, while others are simply hanging around the Hub and Partners statue.)

But then, around 20 minutes before 5 p.m., even more people were gathering on Main Street, in the Hub, and in front of Cinderella Castle to watch Disney Enchantment for the very first time.

As mentioned, Disney Enchantment does not begin until 9 p.m. this evening, so as time goes on, we will see more and more Guests snagging their spots around Cinderella Castle and on Main Street for their opportunity to see the new firework show.

With a runtime of 15 minutes, Disney Enchantment is officially described as:

Be swept up in a world of wonder filled with friendship, love and fun as you watch this nighttime spectacular unfold. Inspiring everyone to believe in magic, Disney Enchantment will feature captivating Disney music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks and—for the first time—immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom park.

It’s an awe-inspiring show you won’t want to miss—debuting October 1, 2021 during the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration.
