Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort are two of the most popular hotels on Walt Disney World Resort property.

The Value Resorts offer fun theming and affordable nightly rates compared to other Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort — and, as an added bonus, they are Disney Skyliner Resorts! This makes transportation to EPCOT Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park easier than ever before.
Now, however, Guests at these two popular Resorts are dealing with an interesting new mobile order rule that does not apply at any other hotels on property.

During a recent stay at Art of Animation, I was not allowed to retrieve a food order from Pop Century next door. I was told I had to place any mobile orders at Art of Animation’s Landscape of Flavors food court.
Inside the Magic has now confirmed with Disney that Guests at Art of Animation and Pop Century are not allowed to obtain mobile orders from the other hotel at this time — this is intriguing since the two properties are sister Resorts.

Disney did not indicate how long this rule will be enforced but did note that it only applies to these specific Value Resorts. If you plan to visit either Resort during Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary celebration, it is important to be aware of the fact that this rule is in place at this time.
