The newest Disney World mode of transportation is Disney’s Skyliner. The Skyliner is a gondola system that connects both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to the following Disney World Resorts: 

  • Disney’s Pop Century Resort
  • Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
  • Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
  • Disney’s Rivera Resort

Disney’s Skyliner allows Guests to fly across the sky to their destination quickly and with a great view. Disney World is looking for some new Cast Members to join their Skyliner team as a part-time host or hostess!

Job Summary:
The sky is the limit as we bring to life this iconic mode of transportation, where our Gondola Cast Members will soar to unparalleled heights of guest service on our newest mode, Gondola’s (Disney Skyliner). Gondola Cast Members are responsible for greeting Guests, loading and unloading cabins, monitoring and operating the gondola system, delivering narrations of varying lengths and providing audience control, while always ensuring our Guest and Cast Member’s safety.

Gondola Host and Hostesses receive a starting rate of $14.00/hour

Responsibilities:
Greet & welcome guests using themed greetings
Load & unload guests- heaving lifting may be required
Comfortable with heights and experiencing the Skyliner as a passenger while traveling from station to station
Drive company vehicles
Strong memorization skills
Memorize prepared guest information and deliver via microphone
Project voice to deliver safety directions when needed
Continuous walking & standing to direct guests for extended periods of time
Work mainly in an outdoor settings during various weather conditions
Operate a Smart Phone/Radio to communicate
Provide Guest Service and help find solutions when challenges arise
Comfortable Speaking in front of large groups
Take ownership during emergencies situations
Perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Operate Computerized ride system
Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, safety harnesses, hard hats, safety vests etc.) may be required

Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
Must have a valid Driver’s License
For safety reasons, must be able to distinguish between red and green colors
Willing to work at various heights
Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling
Part-Time requires 3 full days of availability for any shift, including nights and holidays
Part-Time will require one week full availability for training purposes
Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual preferred
Computer experience operating a mechanical system.
Experience following set procedures and memorizing information
