Cinderella Castle almost looks unrecognizable when it was under construction, as you can see in this rare photo shared by award-winning & bestselling author Aaron H. Goldberg, along with the caption:

As you can see in the photo, the iconic spires are sitting on top of the construction structure, but even with the bright blue elements, Cinderella Castle had a long way to go when this photo was taken. It is so interesting to see just how Imagineers went about building some of the most iconic structures at Walt Disney World, including the 189-foot Magic Kingdom icon.
