In 1997, the world was introduced to a young boy wizard named Harry Potter. Four years later, an unknown young actor named Daniel Radcliffe brought Harry Potter to life, and fans all over the world became obsessed with all things wizarding. The Harry Potter fervor has yet to die down and fans still flock to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which can be found at the Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Universal Studios Japan.

Becoming Harry Potter skyrocketed Daniel Radcliffe to superstardom. He and his fellow actors — including Emma Watson and Rupert Grint — became household names. Even though they have all gone on to appear in a number of other projects, they will always be known to many as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.

While they may have been the stars of the Harry Potter franchise and are sure to have special memories from each film, they are also sure to have their favorite. Radcliffe recently sat down for an interview with Wired and shared which Harry Potter film was his favorite to work on. Radcliffe said:

“I actually love the fifth one, which is not one that most people cite as one of their favorites, but I got to work with Gary Oldman a bunch in it, and I was sort of a little bit older at that point, so I was kinf od able to appreciate that more. But to watch, probably the last one.

For those who may not remember, the fifth book and film in the Harry Potter series was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. And Radcliffe is definitely right about people not typically naming that one as their favorite. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is particularly dark and, while Radcliffe was able to work a lot with Oldman, Oldman’s character of Sirius Black dies at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange.

While Radcliffe is still keen to talk about his time as the boy wizard, he has since taken on a number of different roles to show his true range as an actor. However, he has said that if he were to star in any Harry Potter reboot or prequel, he would love to portray a younger version of the character Oldman brought to life or even another famous character, Remus Lupin.

There were rumors of a Harry Potter project in the works at HBO, but those have since been squashed. However, fans still keep up hope that one day they will get to see their favorite characters onscreen once again.
