Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is a tropical oasis at Walt Disney World Resort, featuring waterslides, a surf pool, a lazy river, and more. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the water park remains closed to Guests.
Four new permits have been filed recently for general construction work and electrical work at various locations within Typhoon Lagoon:

- 1170 E Buena Vista Drive (Wave Pool) – General Construction
- 1116 E Buena Vista Drive (Crush n Gusher Tower) – General Construction
- 1127 E Buena Vista Drive (Typhoon Lagoon Administrative Building) – Electrical
This is not the first time recently that Disney has filed permits for Typhoon Lagoon, which means they could be thinking about reopening the fan-favorite water park to Guests in the near future.
