Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is a tropical oasis at Walt Disney World Resort, featuring waterslides, a surf pool, a lazy river, and more. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the water park remains closed to Guests.

Last month, we shared an aerial photo of Typhoon Lagoon, and with the pool drained, the water park looks a lot more like the abandoned River Country than a fun place to take a dip. Now, we have another photo to share, which still shows the Disney water park looking pretty deserted.

Bioreconstruct (@bioreconstruct) took to Twitter to share an aerial photo of Typhoon Lagoon at night, which is pretty miraculous! The image, which you can see in the Tweet below, shows the water park during its refurbishment and closure:

At this time, due to the ongoing pandemic, Typhoon Lagoon remains closed, and a reopening date has yet to be announced. However, Inside the Magic will keep you updated as we get information regarding this Disney World water park.

In the meantime, Guests can visit Disney’s other water park, Blizzard Beach! If you plan to check out Blizzard Beach on your next family vacation, or Typhoon Lagoon when it reopens, and need help planning, be sure to check out our article here.
