When Walt Disney World Resort reopened in July 2020 following its four-month-long pandemic closure, the Disney experience had changed. Guests were required to abide by a number of COVID-19 health and safety protocols, and many locations around the Resort property had not reopened.

Now, as Disney World’s phased reopening process continues, more and more locations across Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are becoming available to Guests once again.
The latest spot to reopen is a fan-favorite bar, the Victoria Falls Lounge, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort hotel. The establishment had been closed for about 15 months, since Walt Disney World Resort’s unprecedented closure in March 2020.

The lounge’s quiet reopening comes on the heels of the news that popular restaurant, Boma – Flavors of Africa, will also be reopening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
The official description of Victoria Falls Lounge reads:
Sample suds from South Africa before or after dinner inside this intimate bar overlooking Boma restaurant. A host of South African wines are also featured, all of which can be enjoyed in the flickering ambience of the fire pit outside.

The establishment’s webpage also confirms that it is open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST daily at this time.
The menu includes “Lounge Fare” — like Marinated Olives with Almonds and a Braai Burger and Seasoned Fries — until 10 p.m., plus, of course, a number of cocktails — like the Victoria Falls Mist, the Flame Lily, the Savanna Rains, and the Mt. Killimarita.

Keep in mind that all Disney Dining Plan options are currently suspended at Walt Disney World Resort.
