Disney Very Merriest After Hours is the newest event that will take place on 24 select nights in November and December at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The After Hours event is replacing Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year, similar to how Disney After Hours Boo Bash replaced Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Tickets range from $169 to $229 plus tax for select November-December nights and $249, plus tax for December 19 and December 21. Tickets for Disney Very Merriest After Hour went on sale last week, but it seems as though availability for the Magic Kingdom event is still wide open as not a single day has sold out.
As we mentioned earlier, Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours tickets went on sale last week, and we were curious to see if any dates have sold out yet, especially thinking back to how Disney Boo Bash continued to sell out despite backlash over pricing.
Well, when checking the Walt Disney World website today, August 27, we noticed that every single day still has availability — meaning no dates have yet to sell out. You can see this reflected in the screenshots below.
Though pricing is more than Disney After Hours Boo Bash, it is important to note that with Disney Very Merriest After Hours, attendees will be able to see fireworks and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, something that Boo Bash did not offer.
With all of this being said, we recently reported on how Disney fans felt about the pricing of Disney Very Merriest After Hours and if a majority of people would be attending the Magic Kingdom After Hours event at those prices. A majority of our audience did say they would be skipping out on this year’s After Hours holiday event due to the high pricing, and it seems as though this is reflected in the current availability on the website.
Keep in mind Disney Very Merriest After Hours is not the same as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Disney Very Merriest After Hours will take place on 24 select nights in November and December.
The event is four hours long (9 p.m. to 1 a.m., though you can get in as early as 7 p.m.) and gives Guests the opportunity to get in the holiday spirit at Magic Kingdom as fireworks light up the night sky, Mickey and friends ride down Main Street, U.S.A. in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, holiday overlays will take over select attractions, and more!
