Credit: DisneyWhen Walt Disney World unveiled plans for its all-new holiday after-hours event earlier this year, many fans were upset by the price point.
Disney Very Merriest After Hours— an event that features a themed parade, fireworks, character sightings, and much more– takes place on select nights through the months of November and December and allows Guests to enjoy Magic Kingdom with fewer crowds with an emphasis on the holiday celebration.
However, ticket prices have been at the center of the conversation surrounding the event. Tickets start at $209.00 plus tax and are as high as $229.00 plus tax on certain nights.
Despite those complaints, Guests are buying tickets in droves.
Disney has already announced sellouts for December 5, December 7, December 9, December 12, December 17, December 19, and December 21. That leaves just five dates available– December 2, December 3, December 10, December 14, December 16– for the event in 2021 that are not already sold out.

“Celebrate the holidays in the very merriest way at a new event featuring a themed parade, fireworks, Character sightings and more!
Disney Very Merriest After Hours will take place from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM on select nights, from November 8 through December 21, 2021. Ticket holders will be admitted to Magic Kingdom park as early as 7:00 PM on the valid date of their ticket, giving them even more time to enjoy park favorites before the event begins—including the new Disney Enchantment nighttime spectacular! These dated tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or Disney Park Pass theme park reservation.”
