If you have been to Disney World during the pandemic, you likely have noticed that the way Guests see characters nowadays is quite different from what we are used to. From parades to meet and greets, saying hi to Mickey Mouse is no longer the same.

Now, Guests get to experience character interactions! Characters are still present in the park, and from a distance, whether that be perched on top of the Walt Disney World Railroad station on Main Street U.S.A., or strolling by on a cavalcade in front of Cinderella Castle.

Well, it seems that today, Guests watching those character interactions are in for a real treat! At Magic Kingdom, it is incredibly rare to see Mulan, as her meet and greet typically is held in EPCOT in the China pavilion. That being said, she is here today!

Thanks to Disney Character Guide (@wdwmickeyhunter), we can see that Mulan is currently coming out with the rest of the princesses at Magic Kingdom!

Mulan is at Magic Kingdom! I repeat, Mulan is at Magic Kingdom

As we previously mentioned, seeing Mulan at Magic Kingdom is quite a rare occurrence, so it seems that although she may be seen today, Guests should not expect to see her every time they visit Magic Kingdom, as she is not in the regular rotation.

However, hopefully, the sight of Mulan and excitement for her appearance will make Disney consider bringing her out more! With a recent live-action movie on the original animated classic, Mulan is a character that is quite relevant considering she is the most recent princess to get a live-action film, following Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Jasmine in Aladdin.

If you did want to get an up-close and personal meet and greet with a princess, although still barricaded and distanced, both Anna and Elsa from Frozen are currently meeting in the Norway pavilion at EPCOT, where Guests can talk with them as well as get a socially distanced photo!

That being said, with so many character interactions happening at the parks, Guests should keep their eyes peeled for rare sightings such as Mulan in the future.
