Credit: ITMDisneyland Resort has finally opened once again, and Guests are loving walking through Disneyland and Disney California Adventure seeing their favorite characters like Mickey Mouse, riding attractions, and soaking in the joy that radiates from the Happiest Place on Earth.Â

After over 400 days of being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, one can only imagine how excited Guests are to reenter the California theme park. That being said, both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are currently operating at 25% capacity — and are limited to California residents only — so typical crowd levels are not to be expected.
Now that Disneyland has reopened, it is interesting to look at wait times, even with reduced capacity.
It seems that, at the moment, attraction queues are not too long! As of 1:11 EST, Toy Story Midway Mania! had one of the longest wait times at only 30 minutes.
The newly refurbished Snow White’s Enchanted Wish has a 35-minute wait, while Soarin’ and Space Mountain came in at 20 minutes. The soon-to-be-rethemed Splash Mountain, however, has a 45-minute wait time.
Pirates of the Caribbean has a 20-minute wait, despite its queue looking much longer. Furthermore, Radiator Springs in Cars Land has a fairly lengthy wait of 60 minutes.
The Haunted Mansion has a 50-minute wait time and Indiana Jones — which broke down earlier today — has been bouncing between a 45 minute to 60 minute wait time.
It is also important to note that a lot of the long lines that can be seen extending out of their typical queues today are due to social distancing. Guests must stand six feet apart at all times when in line, which, as we have seen at Disney World as well, allows the lines to seem much longer than they actually are. This is especially true in Disneyland, as all queues must be outdoors.

Indiana Jones Adventure seems to have the longest line, despite its previously mentioned short breakdown this morning. The attraction queue has extended into the Jungle Cruise queue, as the majority of its line takes place indoors. With Jungle Cruise remaining closed through to the summer, this use of space works perfectly to line up Guests safely.
We also can see that Haunted Mansion’s queue is stretching down through New Orleans Square.
Pirates of the Caribbean also has a queue that is extending well past its usual area, as well.
Snow White’s Enchanted Wish also had a socially distanced queue passing Sleeping Beauty Castle, but as we said, the wait time was only 35 minutes.
So, it seems that even the longest lines at Disneyland Resort today are not too long, which is great news for Guests who are entering the parks! However, of course, things can change throughout the day.
