Disney Magical Kingdom Blog also shared the news. In their report, they included a statement from Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Managing Director Michael Moriarty regarding the reopening of the Hong Kong Disney theme park:
“From everyone at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, we wish you good health, happiness and prosperity in the year of the Ox. Every cast member has been putting tremendous effort in preparing our park reopening. I could not be more thrilled to announce that our park will be reopened on February 19, to welcome guests to experience the magic of our 15th anniversary and our new Castle of Magical Dreams. I want to give thanks for the support of our guests and the countless efforts from our cast members during this challenging time,” said Michael Moriarty, Managing Director, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
More information on the reopening of Hong Kong Disneyland and the health and safety protocol in place at the theme park can be found on the official website here.

Disney Parks Blog announced the reopening of the Hong Kong Disney Park and shared the following details:
In alignment with the latest guidance from government and health authorities, the resort will continue to implement enhanced health and safety measures, including requiring face coverings and physical distancing. These measures will continue to be reviewed and adjusted based on the latest government regulations.
“I’m very proud of our Cast Members for their dedicated efforts in preparation for our reopening, especially during this trying time for all of us,” said Michael Moriarty, managing director for Hong Kong Disneyland. “Our recovery will be an important part of revitalizing the tourism industry in Hong Kong – serving as a beacon of hope, courage and possibility, much like our Castle of Magical Dreams.”

Just last week, we reported that Hong Kong Disneyland officials shared the following announcement in response to the theme park being allowed to reopen once again:
“We welcome the government’s announcement to allow our park to reopen. We will follow the latest regulations and guidance from the government and health authorities and have been proactively preparing for the park’s reopening. We are currently arranging the COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction-based nucleic acid test (PCR test) for our cast members, so that the park can reopen as soon as possible when the circumstances allow.”
Those who purchased theme park tickets are encouraged to visit the official Hong Kong Disneyland website for more information.

On February 19, 2021, Hong Kong Disneyland will join the other Disney Parks currently open amid the pandemic: Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, Shanghai Disney Resort in China, and Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan.
Disneyland Paris remains temporarily closed due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in France, and a reopening date for Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios has not yet been set (though keep in mind, those parks did reopen before re-closing). The theme parks of the Disneyland Resort (Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park) have been closed since mid-March 2020, and Disney Parks officials confirmed that they do not expect Disneyland in California or Disneyland Paris in France to reopen until spring at the earliest.
