In their place, a beautiful new entryway was constructed and has since been revealed to Guests. Now, Disney has officially announced the return of Leave a Legacy! This is very exciting news as it will help EPCOT retain a beloved design feature with a twist in honor of the new era of the theme park at Walt Disney World Resort.

…with the transformation of the EPCOT main entrance area, the original Legacy sculpture has been removed, but Leave A Legacy lives on in a beautiful new setting just outside the park… Seeing Leave a Legacy again at EPCOT was incredibly special, and we’re so glad it’s part of the updated main entrance area – in a bright new color, too!
These newly designed panels are the first of many that will be installed outside the EPCOT touch points, featuring vibrant hues from the park’s new color palette. Along with the fresh look for Leave A Legacy, the beautiful fountain and gleaming pylons further illustrate the park’s transformation and the magic of possibility.
For anyone else who wants to search for a tile at the new location, guests can use their smart device to scan the QR code at the Leave a Legacy display. This opens up the tile finder search feature, which can provide the coordinates for a tile’s location. Guests can also visit the EPCOT guest Relations team for assistance.

As our EPCOT main entrance project continues, our team is giving a new home to the Leave a Legacy panels. And we’ve used this opportunity to bring a little something new to these Guest-favorite elements. The first round of newly-designed panels were installed outside the EPCOT main entrance touch points today, featuring a vibrant color from the park’s new color palette.
The Leave a Legacy Program offered Guests the opportunity to have their pictures taken and etched onto tiles for the EPCOT Leave a Legacy sculpture. The result was a beautiful representation of EPCOT’s global community, and these new panels will continue to celebrate the spirit of optimism we all share. There is so much going on at EPCOT and if you recently visited, you undoubtedly saw construction throughout the theme park. Thankfully, we are seeing some construction walls come down as Disney has recently opened up a small area of the France Pavilion for Guests to enjoy!
