The female entrepreneur shared some shocking — and rather grisly — details about Hammer.

Somewhat ironically, Hammer’s most famous Disney role — in the aforementioned Lone Ranger film — was alongside Johnny Depp’s Tonto. Depp has faced his own fair share of controversy in recent months amid his libel case involving domestic violence allegations from ex-wife Amber Heard.

Now, social media is blowing up with fan reactions to Vucekovich’s disturbing story — and the resurfacing of other leaked text messages, as reported by E! News.

Here, we take a look at how fans have responded to the — possibly former, as it isn’t likely the studio will work with him again following this — Disney actor’s majorly controversial situation.

Twitter user Ron Delnevo shared a BBC link that addresses the fact that Hammer has also reportedly pulled-out of starring in new Ryan Reynolds-directed film Shotgun Wedding alongside Jennifer Lopez and wrote:

Moon shared the shocked reaction that many movie fans are having, posting the following reply to a description of Hammer’s allegedly cannibalistic messages:

The Atlantic senior editor Lenika Cruz wrote:

i had managed to avoid the armie hammer cannibal discourse until two seconds ago when my husband walked into the room and said “have you heard about how armie hammer is a cannibal”

A follower, PugSmore responded:

My curiosity got the better of me after Dionne Warwick mention Armie Hammer in a tweet lol

The Warwick Tweet in question — which seems to be how quite a few people on Twitter (if you simply search “Armie Hammer”) discovered the controversy — reads:

I was looking through the trending subjects and came across Armie Hammer. I will not be looking again for the rest of the day.
