'Disenchanted' Confirmed for Disney+, Amy Adams Returns! - Inside the Magic

This is the news you’ve been waiting for! During the Investors Day 2020 event, Disney confirmed Disenchanted, a sequel to the popular film Enchanted, will be coming soon to Disney+ and Amy Adams will be returning as Giselle!

If you’ve never seen the original Enchanted film, the official description reads:

In the fairy-tale land of Andalasia, pretty young Giselle frolics with her woodland pals, and falls in love with the handsome Prince Edward, but when Giselle arrives at the castle to marry her Prince Charming, his evil stepmother sends the princess-to-be to a place where there are `no happy ever afters’: New York City. Cynical divorce lawyer Robert comes to her rescue, but can Giselle find her way back to her true love?

Disenchanted, a sequel to the hit film Enchanted, will stream exclusively on @DisneyPlus. Amy Adams returns for more fantastical fun as Giselle! ?

We already knew Disenchanted would be coming to Disney+, but the fact that Amy Adams is now confirmed as Giselle is extremely exciting for Enchanted fans. Earlier this year, we reported that original Enchanted star James Marsden spoke out about the possible sequel, but at this time, he has not been confirmed to return. Inside the Magic will keep you posted as we get information.
