National holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, are historically extremely busy for Walt Disney World Resort.
Although Disney World’s four theme parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios — are currently still operating at limited capacity amid the coronavirus pandemic, holiday crowds are still flocking to the Florida Disney Resort.
Today, wild wait times for rides and attractions abound as Thanksgiving week crowds descend on Orlando.
Magic Kingdom
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had an 85-minute wait this morning.
Another popular Frontierland ride, Splash Mountain, had a posted 80-minute wait time.

EPCOT
At EPCOT, the ever-popular Test Track racing attraction had an 85-minute wait time as well.
Soarin’ Around the World had one of the longest waits in the entirety of Disney World with a 90-minute posted queue time.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster in Toy Story Land had an 80-minute wait earlier today.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
DINOSAUR’s wait time was just over an hour, at 65 minutes.
And, unsurprisingly, the immensely popular Avatar Flight of Passage in Pandora: The World of Avatar was requiring Guests to wait in line for 90 minutes.

It is important to note that Disney World Guests have noted that posted wait times are often longer than actual wait times due to socially distanced queues for rides and attractions.
Just last week, however, I waited the full 70-minute posted wait time for Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, so some queues are taking the full amount of time for boarding. At that point, 70 minutes was the longest wait in any Disney World theme park, so today’s wait times are a definite increase.
