In these troubling times, it can be difficult to see the good out there. But don’t fret superhero fans! We’ve gathered our favorite bits of good Marvel news for every lover of Marvel films, Marvel comics, and all things, well … Marvel.

As Thanos said in Avengers: Infinity War; ‘this does put a smile on my face.’

We’re pretty certain he was talking about our Marvel good news.

In what is perhaps the most wholesome bit of recent Marvel news, you can now win a zoom call with the six original Avengers actors, with all proceeds going to charity. Chris Evans took the ‘All In’ challenge from fellow MCU actor Chris Pratt and has offered fans this unique prize.

If you’re the lucky winner, you’ll enjoy a forty-minute call with Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Hawkeye, and The Incredible Hulk. Or rather, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo.

The best part is that everything raised will be split between Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen, and No Kid Hungry.

You can enter right here, but hurry; you’ve only got until May 25!

Town transforms into Marvel superheroes (and Disney Princesses)

Stockport in Manchester, England has turned into a regular spot for Marvel heroes to make kids feel safe amidst the current crisis.

‘We’re telling the kids to stay inside, we’re keeping that social distance in place, but obviously trying to make people smile and be happy’ said organiser Andrew Baldock.

So far the town has been home to five Spider-Men, a handful of Batmen, and many Disney Princesses. Hopefully we’ll soon see them branch out into other Marvel superheroes like Captain Marvel, Iron Man, and Captain America!

As is, these people are using the magic of Marvel to not only make kids smile, but to raise money for England’s National Health Service, and that’s pretty heroic.

Current release dates for Marvel movies and tv series seem positive

Black Widow

Following Black Widow‘s new release date of November 6, there’s no indication at this time that this will change. In fact, in the UK the film now has a release date of October 28th.

Though it’s a bummer that we won’t see Black Widow on Disney Plus any time soon, the fact that the movie will be shown in theatres bodes well for other Marvel films. It’s certainly a good thing for the cinema industry on the whole.

As of May 22, this is what the current Marvel Cinematic Universe launch schedule looks like (using US release dates from IMDb):

Marvel‘s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (tv series) – August 2020

Marvel‘s Black Widow – November 6, 2020

Marvel‘s Wandavision (tv series) – December 2020

Marvel‘s The Eternals – February 12, 2021

Marvel‘s Loki (tv series) – Early 2021

Marvel‘s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – May 7, 2021

Marvel‘s ‘What if’ (tv series) – Summer 2021

Marvel‘s Hawkeye (tv series) – Late 2021

Untitled Spider-Man sequel – November 5, 2021

Marvel‘s Thor: Love and Thunder – February 11, 2022

Marvel‘s Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness – March 25, 2022

Marvel‘s Black Panther II – May 6, 2022

Marvel‘s Captain Marvel 2 – July 8, 2022

Of course, there are many more Marvel movies and tv series in the works like Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3, She Hulk, and so on, but this is everything in the MCU timeline with a release date.

Black Widow’s pushback has indeed created ripples, but the Marvel movie and tv line up looks as strong as ever.

We feel that the Russo Brothers have it right and Avengers: Endgame should be the first Marvel movie to return to theatres in a blaze of glory when they finally reopen.

Avengers: Infinity War and Ant Man and the Wasp will soon release on Disney Plus and you’ll be able to marathon most of the MCU by streaming

Disney plus educational watchlist

Disney Plus has been surprisingly slow in getting all of our favorite Marvel movies ready for streaming, but come August 14th, every Disney owned Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will finally be on Disney Plus.

Notable absences include The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Spider-Man: Far From Home, as the distribution rights sit with Universal and Sony respectively, not Disney.

This means that Marvel fans can finally sit down and marathon the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline on Disney Plus. You’ll just have to switch to alternate means of watching the three that Marvel Studios and Disney don’t own.

You can watch the entire MCU timeline in chronological order, release order, or by a specific character‘s journey. We’d recommend getting your best Marvel-loving pals over and watching all the way from Iron Man to Endgame while we’re stuck indoors; it’s an experience you won’t forget!

The New Mutants has been confirmed to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it will finally see a theatrical release. While many thought that it would launch straight to Disney Plus, it’s a positive sign for both Marvel and the film industry on the whole that we’ll finally get to see it in cinemas.

The final 20th Century Fox X-Men movie will land on August 28th, 2020.

Now if we could only work out when Deadpool will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe to take the mantle of cheekiest avenger.
