Can’t get enough of Disney’s photo-worthy treats? Me neither! Walt Disney World has been coming out with some pretty beautiful drinks and desserts lately, but this one has quickly moved to the top of our list. The new mermaid dessert at Disney World is just as beautiful as it is delicious — take a look!

If you’re familiar with the troll horn dessert at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway pavilion at Epcot, then you’re sure to love this one. Only instead of a simple cream-filled pastry, the new mermaid tail packs much more flavor.

Available at Gasparilla Island Grill — the quick-service dining location at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa — the new Pineapple Coconut Mermaid Tail is a bright green pastry horn filled with pineapple and coconut cream. It’s topped with green sprinkles to resemble Ariel’s tail and a beautiful purple shells to resemble Ariel’s shells. The fins are also made of solid white chocolate, and the cream filling is also topped with multicolored star sprinkles. How adorable is that?

We absolutely love Ariel from Disney’s  The Little Mermaid, so whenever there’s a new food or merchandise item inspired by our favorite mermaid, we always have to share it.

This dessert has a lot going on, from the sprinkles to the bright colors to the tropical pastry cream filling. But it’s definitely not as sweet as some of the other desserts that Disney World sells. If you have a huge sweet tooth, we’d say opt for a cupcake inspired by The Little Mermaid for a similar vibe. But if you want a lighter dessert that’s definitely shareable and still photogenic, we say this one is worth a try!

You can pick this one up for $5.99  on your next visit to Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian. And if you’re in the mood for resort hopping this season, check out our guide to the best Disney World Resort hotels during Christmas!
