Bluey is one of the most beloved shows currently streaming, and that’s putting it lightly. However, the show’s most cherished episode underwent a massive makeover, and the dogs are sporting a brand new look that completely rocked the Heeler household.

With episodes like “Camping,” “Rug Island, “Army,” and “Space” notorious for tugging at viewers’ heartstrings, it can be incredibly difficult to choose a favorite. However, the one episode that seems to be the unanimous winner is “Sleepytime.”

The episode depicts a night in the Heeler House as Bingo, determined to be independent and sleep by herself, embarks on a wild space adventure in her dreams set to the music of Gustav Holst in a psychedelic and emotional display from Ludo Studios’ animation team. However, a team of 100 animators completely changed that in an ambitious new project.
Bluey Gets Reanimated
Brought to viewers by Saberspark and Punch Cat Studios, Sleepytime Reanimated brings together a recut and reimagined version of the beloved episode from the show’s first season. It’s no secret that Bluey has amassed an enormous fan following spanning across different age groups and demographics, but “Sleepytime” confirms just what an impact the series has had on pop culture as a whole.

“Sleepytime” is already one of the most beautifully animated projects from Ludo Studio, but the mix of mediums, styles, and artists truly gives new life to an already gorgeous inspiration.
In just a little over eight minutes, Bluey, Bingo, Chilli, and Bandit go from their traditional selves to stop-motion puppets, claymation figures, and even venture into the world of anime and a Lego-based variant, proving just what can happen when enough creative minds band together.

It should be noted that this is a non-profit fan project and that all of these artists volunteered to lend their pens, paints, and other tools of the trade to get this project off the ground. While there are simply too many names to list, the unique contribution of each animator, artist, and creative mind is undeniably appreciated by the ever growing fandom.
