Especially when it’s through a screen, perceived authority breeds trust but in a new bout of fake news, right-wingers attack Disney on a whole new level. The tragedy is that misleading information only contributes to real-life risks for those in the transgender community and with a joke of an excuse.

Right-Wingers Attack Disney With Fake News
Slander and libel are the defamatory use of words, with the former spoken and the latter written. In a world that allows right-wingers to attack Disney, the brand’s undergone its share of conspiracy theories. It suffers claims that stretch from pedophilia rings to the theme park being under a protective dome.
But Disney is a massive company, so how can people still spread damaging, false info? The answer is satire, the first amendment’s often-irritating cousin that says that if you’re joking, pretending, or exaggerating, the speaker or writer receives protection. After all, freedom of speech is essential.
It doesn’t make the new fake news Disney faces any less harmful, though. The pot-stirrer even went so far as impersonating a Disney executive.

Right-Wingers Attack Disney With Undercover
Mark Dice pretended to be Alan Bergman in a supposed gimmick. But it’s really another way for right-wingers to attack Disney. The fake news video circulated via Rumble, a right-wing platform not technically unlike YouTube. That might be fine on its own, but the speech’s content and context are deeply troubling.
From all discernable appearances, it’s a council meeting. In attendance were real politicians like Esther Sanchez. Best case? It’s entirely a ruse. Worst case? It’s a waste of tax-payer dollars and a way to further hate against gender diversity.

Fake News: Disney’s Opening Pediatric Transgender Clinics
Dice’s statements, under the guise of Bergman, included, “This summer, we’re going to be opening Disney-themed pediatric transgender clinics for the children across the country.”
The bit goes on, making ridiculous claims, in another show right-wingers attacking Disney and the LGBTQ+ community suffer. Claims include that any patient gets a free season pass and even a six-month subscription to Disney+.
This makes it appear like Disney is unduly influencing children and effectively bribing them to question their gender identity. The issue comes amidst the “woke” movement, dividing Floridians and the entire Disney community.
Whether there’s merit to it hasn’t been proven in court, so it’s up to the audience to find reputable sources and not fall prey to bad actors.
