The holiday season at Walt Disney World is a time unlike any other. As soon as Halloween decorations come down, the parks transform into a winter wonderland, complete with sparkling lights, snow on Main Street, and festive music that seems to echo from every corner.

Whether you’re watching Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade in Magic Kingdom or sipping a holiday-themed cocktail under the neon glow of Hollywood Studios, the energy is simply electric.

For many fans, these events are more than just entertainment—they’re a tradition. Families plan entire vacations around Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or the newer, flashier Disney Jollywood Nights. And let’s be honest, there’s something magical about walking through Cinderella Castle lit up with twinkling lights, or catching Kermit and Miss Piggy singing Christmas tunes under the stars.

But if you’ve been waiting to book your spot for these iconic events in 2025, here’s your heads-up: Disney just opened up its official capacity for the season —and the tickets are officially on sale to everyone.

Tickets Now on Sale for Very Merry Christmas Party

After a brief pre-sale for resort guests, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are now available to all guests. This year’s event runs on select nights from November 7 through December 21, and it’s clear Disney expects a huge turnout. Ticket prices range from $169 to a record-high $229, depending on the night. Even with the increase, these parties are known to sell out—sometimes weeks or even months in advance.

Guests attending the party can expect a full lineup of seasonal entertainment. That includes Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, and the fan-favorite parade featuring Santa Claus himself. Treats like cookies and cocoa are included in your admission, and ride overlays will give classics like Space Mountain and the Jungle Cruise a festive twist. There are even dessert parties available for those who want reserved fireworks viewing (and more sweets, of course).

Jollywood Nights Returns with Star Power

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Jollywood Nights is also returning for its second official season—and it’s turning heads once again. Running from November 8 through December 22, 2025, this after-hours celebration is part old-Hollywood glamour, part high-energy holiday fun. Tickets are now on sale to the public and range from $159 to $199, with select discounts available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members.

New this year is Miguel from Coco, who’ll be appearing at the Holiday Fiesta en la Calle. And don’t worry—favorites like “Disney Holidays in Hollywood” (starring Kermit and Miss Piggy), the Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along, and the “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” fireworks spectacular are all back. Plus, special stage shows like The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will be running during the event.

Add in exclusive snacks (like the adorable Christmas Gertie Cookie), swanky lounges, glitzy décor, and lower wait times for rides, and you’ve got a party that feels less like a theme park event and more like a night out on the town.

Why This Matters for Holiday Travelers

If you’re thinking about heading to Disney World this holiday season, it’s go-time. These events are beloved by fans and have a history of selling out—especially dates close to Thanksgiving and the week before Christmas. With both parties now open to the general public, crowd levels are about to surge. And with record-high pricing, you can bet Disney is pulling out all the stops to make the experience feel worth it.

So whether you’re team Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios, one thing’s clear: the holidays at Disney are in full swing, and they’re not waiting for anyone. If you want a spot in the merriest parties of the year, now’s the time to grab those tickets—and maybe start hunting down your best pair of festive Mickey ears.
