The Disney+ TV series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022) is one of the most controversial entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Based on the popular She-Hulk comic books, the show centers on Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany), who becomes a 6-foot-7-inch female version of herself after being exposed to The Hulk’s blood.

Heavily inspired by the legal comedy-drama Ally McBeal, the show focuses on Jennifer’s struggles both in and out of the courtroom, all the while dealing with her She-Hulk persona. However, unlike the iconic ’90s series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is not a highly regarded piece of television — instead, it’s one of the most widely hated entries in the MCU.

While it certainly has its defenders, the Disney+ series didn’t go down well with many fans. Whether it was Jennifer Walters insulting beloved Marvel legend Bruce Banner/The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), the “twerking” scene with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion, the poor CGI, or all of the above, the show remains one of the most negatively-criticized entries in the franchise.

Fortunately, the MCU now appears to be returning to some semblance of quality after a string of disasters (Black Widow, Eternals, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, The Marvels, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) that followed the critically acclaimed box office juggernaut Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), thanks to this year’s hugely anticipated blockbuster hit Deadpool & Wolverine, which grossed over a whopping $1 billion worldwide.

However, there’s no denying that a huge course-correction is underway. It remains to be seen how Deadpool & Wolverine will shape the future of the MCU (although it’s fair to say that the X-Men will play a huge role in the franchise moving forward), but it looks like Disney and Marvel are wiping the slate clean in many ways. For instance, earlier this year, it was announced that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law won’t be getting a second season.

And it looks like Tatiana Maslany is also done with She-Hulk, as the character has now been recast in a brand-new project titled LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition. In the previous LEGO Marvel movie, Avengers: Code Red, She-Hulk was voiced by Laura Post, but now, Saved by the Bell‘s Tiffani Thiessen takes over as the green superhero. Here’s the official Disney+ description for LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition:

“The all-new animated special is the tenth entry in the popular signature-branded storytelling series. In the new special from Marvel Studios and the LEGO Group, a young, aspiring hero and superhero fan inadvertently unleashes a powerful new villain looking to rid the world of the Avengers. Iron Man and the Avengers are always there to save the day, but fighting villains can get messy.

That’s where Damage Control comes in: to clean things up! But on a day unlike any other, a powerful new villain hatches a plan to destroy the Avengers, and the world’s only hope is now the most unlikely of heroes: a clumsy young worker from Damage Control named Dennis, who has a penchant for destroying everything he touches. Can Dennis become the hero he dreams of being and save Earth’s Mightiest Heroes?”

LEGO Marvel Avengers: Demolition Mission is now available to stream on Disney+.
