Whose Line Is It Anyway? star Wayne Brady just fulfilled a lifelong dream at Walt Disney World Resort. The legendary comedian appeared in a video alongside the Dapper Dans barbershop quartet at Magic Kingdom Park.
Disney-owned Freeform posted the unexpected crossover as promotional material for Brady’s series, Wayne Brady: The Family Remix. Brady pitched the reality show as a peek behind the curtains at his blended family. It follows his life with his ex-wife, best friend, and business partner Mandie Taketa; their 21-year-old daughter Malie Masako Brady; and Mandie’s current partner Jason Michael Fordham.

Years before Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Brady started his life not far from Walt Disney World Resort. The actor and comedian was born in Orlando, Florida, and began his career in entertainment by performing as Disney characters Tigger and Goofy. Brady also played Ghostbuster Winston Zeddemore in “Beetlejuice: Dead in Concert” at Universal Orlando Resort.
Five Emmy Awards later, Brady returned to the Central Florida theme park scene to sing with the Dapper Dans. Watch the video posted by @Freeform below:
@freeform you’re looking very dapper, @Wayne Brady 😉 @Maile Masako @Mandietaketa @Jason
The clip begins with Wayne Brady in a vacation outfit, finding a Dapper Dan hat on Main Street, U.S.A. “I always wanted to sing with the Dapper Dans,” he said.
Moments later, Brady appeared in a full Dapper Dan costume and sang with the barbershop quartet. Mandie Taketa, Jason Michael Fordham, and Malie Masako Brady grinned as they watched Brady sing “Bye Bye Blues.” The comedian even caught on to the Dapper Dans’ hat choreography.
“I’m a Dapper Dan!” Brady exclaimed. “I’m not giving the costume back.”

This isn’t Brady’s first visit back to The Walt Disney Company since making it big. The actor voiced Clover in Sofia the First, Don in Phineas and Ferb, and Stapler Fist in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe (2020). He also starred as The Magician in the made-for-TV film Geppetto (2000) and Mason Wyatt in the Disney Channel Original Movie Going to the Mat (2004).
Fans loved watching Brady and his family return to the place where his entertainment career began.
“You just know this was a dream come true for him!” @adriwdwbound commented.

“Wayne is seriously the most talented man in Hollywood,” @char_izard_31 wrote. “They are so lucky to have him in their family. He’s a national treasure.”
Wayne Brady: The Family Remix premieres on Freeform and streams on Hulu.
