This week, fans retreated to a sneak peek of the next batch of minisodes set to come out on ABC iView, Disney+, and Disney Junior. Not only were they treated to a clip of one of the first new entries in the miniseries, but Bluey’s official blog shared what they can expect for the rest of the year.

It’s no secret that Disney has helped make Bluey a household name, and the cartoon dog has kept the mouse swimming in Disney+ subscribers. This week, The Walt Disney Company made an official press release regarding the show’s future on its magical streaming service.
Bluey Official Release Date and More Revealed
Fans have been following the adventures of Bluey, Bingo, and their parents, Bandit and Chilli, for a few years now, and they have since become one of the most successful and recognizable characters currently streaming. As fans eagerly await the arrival of season four, Ludo Studios is feeding our appetites with 20 minisodes to tide us over.

The Australian animated series is one of the most popular streaming series of 2024 in the U.S., attracting over 32 billion minutes of viewing time. The show centers around the playful adventures of Bluey and her family. With no sign of slowing down, Disney is already gearing us up for another round.
Disney’s official press release shared the following announcement this week,
Disney Branded Television announced today that the next seven “Bluey Minisodes” episodes will begin streaming Monday, October 7 on Disney+ at 12:00 a.m. PDT, and will roll out on Disney Jr., Disney Channel and Disney Jr. On-Demand throughout the week.
The collection of one-to three-minute “Bluey Minisodes” are a series of funny and sweet moments featuring Bluey and Bingo. The first batch of seven “Bluey Minisodes” episodes were released on July 3. The premiere date for the third and final batch will be announced at a later date. The stories lean into playful interactions and games that further explore the characters and world of “Bluey.” “Bluey Minisodes” is written by “Bluey” creator Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio.
But Wait, There’s More!
Ludo also officially announced that the third and final batch of episodes would hit screens before the year is up. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that this might be a hint at a season four release date in 2025.

Both Disney and Ludo are teasing viewers and building up hype for presumably full-length and maybe even 30-minute-long episodes coming to Disney+ next year. Although we cannot confirm or deny it at this time, we’ve picked up the scent of something wonderful on the horizon.
