Universal CityWalk to Close down Several More Locations as a Large Crane Arrives

Universal CityWalk offers complimentary admission throughout the day, allowing guests to explore its diverse offerings without an entrance fee. Additionally, parking fees are waived for most evenings after 6 p.m., providing added convenience for visitors looking to enjoy the evening entertainment and dining options. Universal Studios Florida and the Universal Parks in Orlando do a great job of giving guests a unique experience related to their favorite IPs, like Harry Potter, Halloween Horror Nights, and more things related to its films.

Furthermore, guests arriving by public transportation or staying at an official Universal Orlando Resort hotel also benefit from waived parking fees, making it even more convenient and cost-effective to experience all CityWalk offers. Whether by car, public transit or as part of a resort stay, CityWalk ensures accessibility for all guests to enjoy its vibrant atmosphere and entertainment offerings. Different from Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal CityWalk grants guests access to Universal Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, Universal Studios Florida, and soon, Epic Universe. The Universal appeal within this location gives guests a unique and funfilled experience.

Epic Universe is opening next summer, and the parks are hard at work with construction and updates. Just last week, How To Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk was fully revealed, showcasing all the new attractions and locations coming to this immersive new land. A location within CityWalk has closed down for good to make way for a sneak peek of Epic Universe. But announced today, a few more locations are closing for new experiences.

UOR has officially announced the closure of Cinnabon and Quiet Flight, situated within Universal Orlando’s CityWalk, in April to pave the way for new experiences. Quiet Flight will cease operations on April 14, while Cinnabon’s last day in its current location will be April 28. Universal has indicated that further information regarding the replacements for these establishments will be disclosed shortly.

Aside from the locations shutting down in CityWalk, reports and rumors of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD are now floating around, and more locations tied to Epic Universe are allegedly replacing these soon-to-close locations.

According to Orlando Park Stop, rumors are circulating that the area currently occupied by Cinnabon may be transformed into a merchandise location for SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. This proposed change would enable guests to purchase branded items related to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD before the land’s official opening, coinciding with Epic Universe’s debut in 2025.

While Cinnabon is speculated to be relocating to a new kiosk elsewhere within CityWalk, it is essential to note that it will not depart entirely. Additionally, Cinnabon maintains a window service location within Islands of Adventure, ensuring guests can still enjoy its offerings within the theme park. This prospective venture presents an enticing opportunity for visitors to access exclusive SUPER NINTENDO WORLD branded merchandise ahead of the land’s official opening, anticipated to coincide with the debut of Epic Universe in 2025.

Furthermore, the rumored relocation of Cinnabon to a new kiosk within CityWalk ensures continuity in offering guests its delectable treats, thereby preserving the diverse array of dining and shopping experiences synonymous with Universal Orlando Resort. While these developments remain speculative, they kindle anticipation among guests for potential enhancements to their Universal experience. The Universal parks, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, is always looking for better ways to enhance the guest experience.
