A recent survey identified The Walt Disney Company (WDC) as the “most woke liberal company” in the United States of America.

Typically, when people think of Disney, they think of exciting times at Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort. If not, maybe they think of the dozens of iconic films, like The Little Mermaid (1989), The Lion King (1994), Toy Story (1995), or countless films from the Star Wars and Marvel franchises.

Truly, there is enough going on to find something to love. Still, some particularly vocal subsets of humanity choose to focus on hate and anger, particularly whenever there is any form of acceptance, acknowledgment, or change. Such is the case with a recent survey by the American Conservative Values ETF (ACVF), which labeled Disney as the “most woke liberal company” in the country.

In the survey, they asked shareholders and subscribers to “nominate their top three most woke liberal S&P 500 companies with the prompt ‘Which Companies are the Most Antithetical to your Conservative Ideals, Beliefs, and Values?'”

Naturally, with its perceived indoctrination of children and constant attacks from radical conservative politicians like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump, WDC easily topped that list with a score of 44.2%. This is the second year in a row that Disney took first prize, although its score dropped five points.

The survey continued to show its bias against the House of Mouse, with ACVF founder and president Thomas Carter stating, “It’s clear Disney’s adoption of left-wing ideology led by its war on parental rights continues to harm the company’s brand among politically conservative investors.”

This sentiment was echoed by shareholder activist Paul Chesser, who said, “Disney is still run by Bob Iger, one of the most woke ideologues in corporate America, who is loath to anger the vast majority of creative employees under the Disney shingle in Southern California, where he resides.”

Looking at these reasons as well as the results, it’s clear that the survey is more intent on sparking outrage than it is on helping investors. Never mind that it was former CEO Bob Chapek who truly started the “adoption of left-wing ideology” that has haunted the company since the company spoke out against the “Don’t Say Gay” Bill in Florida, WDC is now in a better place financially, with its stocks reaching their highest values in over a year, and hasn’t changed a single “woke” policy, whatever that means.

The other companies that rounded out the top five were Target with 38.3%, Blackrock Inc. with 30.8%, Google with 20%, and Meta (Facebook) with 16.7%, just in case you wanted to know other companies that have now gone broke.
