What would you say is overall the most intense ride at Universal Studios Florida/Islands of Adventure? It can be any ride there, is there a specific moment on that ride that is the most intense? Let’s discuss.
User u/verifypassword0208 commented with maybe the most obvious answer:
This is cliche, but it’s the truth: VelociCoaster. The damn thing wants very much to throw you out of the coaster, and many of its attempts to do so are the most intense I’ve ever experienced on a ride. Couple of moments could qualify as most intense, but I give it to the barrel roll over the lagoon right at the end. It’s insane and has to be experienced.
User u/Billybaf shared a similar statement:
Everyone says the Velocicoaster, cause it’s the truth.
Thing is brutal. Smooth as butter, but the combination of the hip restraint feeling very insecure, (But actually being safer than all forms of shoulder restraints.) And the ride having multiple launches and fast inverts, (Looking particularly at the Mosasaurus roll.) You’ll feel like you’re about to take a swim in the lagoon
User u/ComicWriter commented with an unhelpful but funny burn on one of Universal’s most infamous attractions:
The fast and the furious ride.
You’ll be so pissed off that the ride is that underwhelming you’ll give yourself a nose bleed
User u/Affectionate_Hawk_20 shares their take on this question with an unusual but understandable choice:
Okay so hear me out. The Simpsons is very intense… The velocicoaster (obviously) is intense and takes your breath away. However, the Simpsons actually hurts and causes a ridiculous amount of motion sickness. Just an alternative take!
User u/kandicolored agreed with the previous posts about VelociCoaster:
second launch on velocicoaster is devastating, also every water section. lost my Halloween Horror Nights 2020 mask to it just an hour or so ago

While the question and debate are fun, the obvious answer and probably the most correct one would have to be the new VelociCoaster. Based on the Jurassic World franchise starring Chris Pratt (Owen Grady) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), the ride is a ferocious and frightening roller coaster. With speeds reaching 70 miles per hour and a whopping 140 foot drop, this ride truly is the definition of intense. More on the ride below:

Feel the Rush of the Hunt.
Speeding through the jungle, rising high above the terrain, it’s the apex predator of roller coasters: the Jurassic World VelociCoaster. Now you can board your vehicle for a high-speed dash through the park’s raptor paddock. Feel the rush of the hunt as you race alongside these nimble predators, twisting and soaring above the land and water. Jurassic World VelociCoaster is Now Open at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
