As many already know, Disney’s Magical Express is coming to an end in just a few days. The complementary mode of transportation brought magic to Guests before they even arrived at Walt Disney World property as it transported Guests to and from Orlando International Airport. The sad news is that this service will no longer be offered starting with arrivals on January 1, 2022.

Though, we do have some good news to share! Disney’s Magical Express will still be in service for Guests traveling from Walt Disney World to Orlando International Airport through mid-January.

Earlier this year, Disney announced the unfortunate news of disconintuing Magical Express, stating:

Disney’s Magical Express service will no longer be offered starting with arrivals January 1, 2022. The service will continue to operate for new and existing reservations made at Disney Resort hotels for arrivals throughout 2021.

And even though Disney’s Magical Express won’t be in service from Orlando International Airport to Walt Disney World Resort hotels beginning on January 1, 2022, the service will continue transporting Guests from Disney, after their vacation ends, back to Orlando International Airport through January 10, 2022.

Orlando International Airport Tweeted the news, writing:

🎶 “Take on DME
(take on DME)
Take me on
(take me on)
I’ll be gone
In 2022…” 🎶

🚌 Disney Magical Express last day to take guests to the resorts from our airport will be Dec. 31. They will continue to bring Disney guests back to the airport until Jan 10.

As we near the end of Magical Express, we have already seen the signage around Disney World Resort hotels replaced, which you can read more abut here.

At this time, Disney has not announced a complementary replacement for Magical Express, but Inside the Magic will update you as we get information. There are services offered from Orlando International Airport to Walt Disney World, but they will cost you. For more information, visit our website here.
