One of the most magical things about arriving at Walt Disney World Resort is the aptly named Magical Express bus service, which transports Guests from Orlando International Airport (MCO) directly to Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

Unfortunately, this complimentary service will no longer be available to Disney World Guests beginning in 2022.
According to the official Disney Parks Blog announcement:
Vacationers have more options to choose from than ever for transportation, including ride-share services that save time and offer more flexibility to go where they want, when they want. In light of this shift, when Disney Resort hotel bookings open for stays in 2022, we will no longer offer Disney’s Magical Express service for airport transportation, starting with arrivals Jan. 1, 2022. We will continue to operate the service for new and existing reservations made at Disney Resort hotels for arrivals throughout 2021. Additionally, complimentary transportation options – such as buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner – will continue to be available within Walt Disney World Resort for Disney Resort hotel guests, including to and from all four theme parks.
Many visitors look forward to deplaning and heading straight for the Magical Express terminal at Orlando International Airport, so this is a notable change that will impact the feeling of being in the “Disney bubble” for the entirety of one’s Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

There has been no word on whether or not the Disney Cruise Line bus service to Port Canaveral will continue its normal operations past 2021, but it seems likely that this DCL service will still be offered since the distance between Walt Disney World’s various hotels and Disney Cruise Line’s Port Canaveral location is significantly greater than the distance between the airport and Disney World.
