Beacons of Magic, the epic new nighttime light shows taking place across Walt Disney World, are amazing, and the one at Disney’s EPCOT has been garnering mass adoration from fans, with a recent TikTok going viral after capturing the moment a Guest witnessed the show for the first time.
Disney’s official TikTok account, @disneyparks reposted the original video by TikTok user @destinationdan in which their brother stood in awe of Beacons of Magic, Epcot’s newly added light show. The chills can literally be felt through the screen as Guests stand and observe the huge and iconic centerpiece of Epcot, Spaceship Earth become lit up, thanks in part to its reflective panels. Disney’s TikTok added the caption:
“Not going to lie, we had the same reaction”
Walt Disney World fans love their nighttime shows, whether they be digital lights or loud and in-your-face fireworks. The consensus in the TikTok’s comment section was no different, stating that this nighttime spectacular was amazing and beautiful, with TikTok user @averylb625 commenting on the history of the show as well, saying:
“The spinning globe is such a nice nod to IlluniNations”
The look of sheer joy and excitement can be seen on the Guest’s faces and truly highlight how special this light show really is. Previously, before Beacons of Magic was installed at Disney’s Epcot Theme Park, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth served as the nightly spectacle that Guests were able to watch from all across Epcot’s World Showcase.
Disney’s official description of Beacons of Magic reads:
The World’s Most Magical Celebration will light up with wonder as the theme park icons are transformed into Beacons of Magic, beckoning all to come and celebrate. Lights shine from within Spaceship Earth’s reflective panels as stardust emerges to symbolize beacons of possibility and optimism
