Celebrities Spotted as Disney Parks Film Annual Christmas Special

The holiday season is around the corner and the Disney Parks are already celebrating the festivities. Overnight on November 1, Walt Disney World and Disneyland took down the Halloween decor and put up the iconic Christmas trees, wreaths, and lights around the Parks.

Now, as we inch closer to December, the Disney Parks are continuing to bring in the festivities as they begin filming for the annual Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Celebration.

Inside the Magic was at the Parks this weekend and we spotted Julianne Hough (Dancing With the Stars, Footloose, Safe Haven) and Kristen Chenoweth (Descendants, Annie, Wicked) standing outside of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom a few days ago, filming for the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Celebration.

We were also able to grab a video of the celeberties as they filmed for the upcoming holiday special, which you can see below.

Kristen Chenoweth took to Twitter to share a photo with Darren Criss (Glee, Muppets Haunted Mansion, American Horror Story) at the Disney Parks, writing:

Inside the Magic spotted Darren Criss inside Magic Kingdom as well, getting ready to film a portion of the holiday special.

Over in EPCOT, Disney fans spotted other celebrities as they filmed bits and pieces of the upcoming ABC Christmas Special. Montria Anderson took to Twitter to share a video of some of the artists behind-the-scenes, including Joey Fatone:

At this time, Disney has not yet updated the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Celebration website, but as in year’s past, we expect the special to air on ABC on Christmas Day, December 25.
