Halloween Time has officially descended upon Disneyland Resort and all things spooky have taken over the Parks! Guests walking down Main Street U.S.A. are greeted by a giant Mickey Pumpkin, the Haunted Mansion has been redecorated by Jack Skellington and is now Haunted Mansion Holiday, and sweet and spicy treats can be found all over Disneyland Resort.
In addition to all of the decorations and treats, there is a ton of merchandise that Halloween lovers should be sure to snatch up. There are sweatshirts, and tee shirts, and toys, everything you can think of. But one new item is taking the park by storm and causing massive lines to form.
There are some things that have a cult following at Disneyland, and one of them is popcorn buckets. Guests will wait in huge lines to get their hands on the newest themed popcorn buckets, and, if you aren’t quick, they just might sell out. Past popular buckets include Jingle Bell buckets that came out during Christmas, as well as a Christmas-themed bucket featuring an adorable alien from Toy Story.
This year’s brand-new Halloween popcorn bucket is no exception.
This year’s newest Halloween popcorn bucket features the one and only Mickey Mouse dressed up as a classic mummy. As if it wasn’t clear that it’s Halloween-themed, the adorable mouse is also holding his very own jack-o-lantern. While the specialty popcorn bucket is not being sold at all popcorn carts throughout Disneyland and California Adventure, the carts that do are being overwhelmed by Guests.
Inside the Magic can confirm that the buckets are being sold at popcorn carts in Town Square, Main Street, Frontierland, and New Orleans Square. Even though the lines may look long, they do tend to move quickly, so wait times in line are not terribly long.
Take a look at some of the crazy lines below!
If you are interested in buying your very own Mummy Mickey popcorn bucket, then you should head down to Disneyland as soon as you can. Disney only orders a set amount of these buckets, and they are not guaranteed to be available throughout the entire Halloween season. The Mummy Mickey popcorn bucket is being sold for $20.50
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort began September 3 and will run through October 31. After that, Christmas will take over and the merriest time of year will begin on November 12 and end on January 9 — which is about a week later than it normally runs.
