It is officially The Spookiest Time of the Year at Disneyland Resort! Halloween Time has come and pumpkins can be found adorning all corners of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure. Guests can also head to Downtown Disney for more decorations — and beginning September 9, a brand-new scavenger hunt called Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit.

In celebration of the frightfully fun holiday, Guests visiting Disneyland will be able to see some of their favorite characters wearing their Halloween best. While social distancing practices are still in place when it comes to character meet and greets, whatever characters Guests see while in the Parks will always take the time to interact with Guests and give their best poses.

One of the best spots to find some classic Disney characters is at the Disneyland Railroad station located on Main Street U.S.A. Since the theme parks reopened, Mickey and most of his friends have been making appearances at the Railroad station throughout the day.

Inside the Magic visited Disneyland for the first day of Halloween season and spotted some of Disney’s most famous characters wearing fun Halloween outfits. Mickey and Minnie were the first to greet Guests — with Mickey wearing a fun bat-inspired cape and top hat, and Minnie wearing an adorable witches costume, complete with a pointy hat.

Later on, Guests were able to see some more famous faces all dressed up and ready to go trick-or-treating. Dale and Goofy decided to team up on their costume choice and are both dressed as spooky skeletons!

One of the best parts of visiting Disneyland Resort is just how many characters you can see in a day. Guests can not only see characters at the train station, but can also see multiple Princesses at The Royal Hall, and maybe even some characters playing at the entrance to Tomorrowland — and that is just a small sampling.

Guests visiting Disneyland and Disney California Adventure can check their Disneyland mobile app to find out exactly where they might be able to see characters throughout their day.
