Disney Encourages Guests to Book a Vacation For Disney World's 50th Now! - Inside the Magic

The Walt Disney World Resort is gearing up to host its 50th anniversary celebration beginning on October 1. As the date draws closer, Disney is ramping up its advertising efforts to promote the momentous celebration.

Part of this promotional effort is encouraging Guests to book vacations in order to experience the 50th anniversary. If you are interested in visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the 18-month 50th anniversary celebration you truly should book your vacation soon. Despite public concerns over the pandemic, rooms at Walt Disney World in October are quickly booking up! In fact, most Disney World hotels are already fully booked for the month of October.

With Disney ramping up efforts to encourage Disney Park fans to book their vacations for the 50th, we anticipate rooms at the Resort will become more scarce during the celebration. The entire Walt Disney World Resort will be dazzling in the 50th anniversary’s signature EARidescent color scheme. As you can see from the video, even the characters will be dressed in their EARidescent best! Even Walt Disney World Cast Members will have new EARidescent nametags for the special event.

Magic Kingdom will debut a new fireworks show for the 50th titled Disney Enchantment and it is sure to be spectacular. EPCOT will also debut a brand new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious, in honor of the 50th anniversary.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT will open as part of the celebration on October 1. New statues will also be popping up around the Resort depicting 50 of the most beloved Disney characters.
