One of the most exciting things about Disney’s 50th anniversary celebration is all of the new offerings coming to Walt Disney World.
From Magic Kingdom’s Disney Enchantment to EPCOT’s Harmonious, evenings at Disney World will be more magical than ever. Now, EPCOT Guests will soon be able to rejoice as another E-ticket attraction is about the debut in the World Showcase. Considering EPCOT is the Disney World Park with the least attractions, adding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure as an expansion to the France Pavilion was a fantastic idea.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was meant to debut last summer; however, the attraction was put on a major pause due to the pandemic. Now, the ride will officially accept Guests as of October 1, the start of the 50th anniversary. At the moment, Cast Member previews are underway, and soon, Annual Passholder previews will begin for those who reserved a time slot to see the attraction.
Once the attraction is available for day Guests, the ride will utilize a virtual queue, much like Rise of the Resistance does at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Actually, if you have ever tried to make a Boarding Pass on that attraction, you have all the training you need to do it for Remy’s!
There will be two times in the day in which Guests can make a Boarding Pass reservation, 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., which are the exact same times used for Rise of the Resistance.
When Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure initially opens, in order to experience the attraction, Guests will be required to join the virtual queue. A standby queue will not be available at opening. The virtual queue will be limited and subject to availability. Each Guest can enter the virtual queue no more than once per day.
Guests with a valid ticket or pass and theme park reservation who will start their day at EPCOT can access the virtual queue system via the My Disney Experience app and check for an available boarding group starting at 7:00 AM on the day of their park reservation. This can be done before you arrive at the theme park. You’ll need to have park admission linked to your Disney account and applicable theme park reservations. If you are unable to join the morning virtual queue opportunity, you may check for an available boarding group starting at 1:00 PM that day after you have entered the park.
Much like Rise of the Resistance, the first Boarding Pass attempt can be made from the comfort of your Disney Resort bed (or any bed, really) as long as you have Park admission and EPCOT reservations. The second attempt will need to be done while physically in the Park.
Are you excited to see Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure come to life on October 1? Do you like that it will be a virtual queue?
