In case you aren’t aware, the EPCOT icon will soon have an enhanced lighting package, illuminating the park icon with a rainbow of colors.
When speaking on the project, Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley said that the “enhanced lighting package coming to the exterior of Spaceship Earth that will activate this area of the park like never before”.
Now, thanks to bioreconstruct (@bioreconstruct) on Twitter, we are seeing more of these lights being installed onto the theme park icon.
Previously, we reported that the lightning package was seen being installed towards the bottom of Spaceship Earth, as well as around the middle, but according to bioreconstruct, it seems as though the new exterior lightning now covers the entire icon:

Bioreconstruct Tweeted another photo, this time a bit closer up, showing the new lighting installed all around Spaceship Earth:

EPCOT will officially debut the new lighting package on October 1 for EPCOT’s birthday and Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
