Daryna N., a Disney fan who was recently a Guest at Universal Orlando, made a surprising discovery at Central Florida’s other major theme park (besides Walt Disney World Resort, of course!) She found a hidden Mickey in an unexpected place — the sky!
Daryna shared the following photo to the Annual Passholders – Walt Disney World Resort Facebook group, and asked her fellow APs, “Does anyone else see Goofy, Mickey and Winnie-the-Pooh?”
Per a Fox 35 Orlando article about the Disney-fied clouds, other members of the group got in on the fun, leaving hundreds of comments on Daryna’s photo”
“Proof that Disney controls the weather,” one commenter said.Â
“They are trying to see what Universal is planning,” another viewer joked.
One Annual Passholder even commented that they saw Minnie Mouse instead of a “hidden Mickey” in the cloud formations!
Fans of both Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California know that hidden Mickeys can be found all over the domestic Disney theme parks, from hotel rooms to rides and attractions to snacks!
There are also hidden Mickeys at all of the Disney Parks properties around the world — Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, and Tokyo Disney Resort all have their fair share of hidden Mickey Mouse silhouettes, too.
“Hidden Mickey Guy” Steven Barrett searches all through the theme parks and resort hotels and everywhere else on Walt Disney World property for camouflaged images of Mickey Mouse to bring his Field Guide to Walt Disney World’s Hidden Mickeys up-to-date with his latest findings. Six scavenger hunts offer cryptic clues to Mickey’s hiding places in the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Disney World Resort Hotels, and everywhere else on Disney World property.
