When the Disney Wishcruise ship was officially unveiled in May 2021, Disney Cruise Line officials and Walt Disney Imagineers gave us a glimpse of their new “castle on the seas” — the new addition to the DCL fleet is set to be truly incredible, and is going to feature a number of brand new Disney Cruise Line experiences!
It seems that the unofficial slogan for the Wish may, in fact, be “out with the old and in with the new” as one Guest-favorite experience appears to be missing from the cruise ship’s deck plans, which were recently released on the official Disney Cruise Line website.
Per these plans, there is no Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard the new vessel. This makeover experience for kids age 3-12 — which includes Star Wars Day at Sea makeover options, pirate makeover options, and Disney Princess makeover options — is currently available on all four existing ships in the DCL fleet.
The official Disney Cruise Line webpage for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique lists that the experience can be found on the Disney Dream, the Disney Fantasy, the Disney Magic, and the Disney Wonder. The Disney Wish is not listed, although other experiences have been updated — this makes it seem quite likely that there is not a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique shop onboard.
The Walt Disney Company has not released any specific details about Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the Disney Wish, but all signs point to the fact that the space it would have taken to house the location will be used for another experience.
Kids can enjoy a magical makeover—including hairstyling, costumes, makeup and more—that lets them live their storybook fantasies.
Watch our Fairy Godmother-inspired stylists turn your child into an elegant princess, a valiant knight or a swashbuckling seafarer. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique packages offer themed costumes, plus styling and accessories that will have kids ready for a royal ball or a daring adventure. With a sensational new look and a dash of imagination, it’s an experience they’ll remember happily ever after!
