If you have an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation and plan on seeing the fireworks at either Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, you should know that there is a change in schedules beginning in August for both Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever.
According to the Walt Disney World website, Happily Ever After will continue showing at 9:15 p.m. through August 9, 2021. Beginning on August 10, 2021, however, the fireworks show at Magic Kingdom will go off at 8:45 p.m.
This is likely because Disney After Hours Boo Bash debuts on August 10, 2021 and begins at 9:30 p.m. By showing Happily Ever After a half hour early, it allows for all Guests to witness the nighttime spectacular before the special ticketed event begins.
EPCOT Forever is also getting new show times starting next month. The nighttime spectacular will continue to show at 10:00 p.m. through August 1. However, beginning on August 2, EPCOT Forever will be shown at 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and at 10:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
