Universal’s new roller coaster is opening TODAY, June 10, at Islands of Adventure. The VelociCoaster takes Guests on an exciting journey inside of a raptor paddock where riders race alongside raptors from the films, such as Blue.
In celebration of this highly immersive roller coaster, Universal has created themed food to help Guests feel like they are on Isla Nublar. Check out all of the food options and where to find them below.

Jurassic Desserts
Let’s start with the best part of every meal, dessert! You can find the blue oversized s’mores (which will leave your mouth blue), and the chocolate lovers’ dream, Dig in a Jar at the Jurassic World Tribute Store.
Also at the Jurassic World Tribute Store, you will find this incredible Amber Gummy that shows the key to all recreated dinosaur life – a mosquito trapped in amber. This iconic imagery from the Jurassic Park films in snack form is something really special and makes for a great photo-op.

Blue is the inspiration for the next dessert. The Blue Churro is a typical theme park churro but topped with white chocolate, blueberry granulated sugar, and tropical pop rocks — it packs a flavorful punch.
The last treat is a churro donut that can be found at Voodoo Doughnut which is located at Universal CityWalk. This makes a great morning breakfast stop on your way to ride the VelociCoaster. Of all of the treats, this one was my favorite despite it not having Jurassic World imagery.
After all of those yummy sweet treats, you need something refreshing! Thankfully, Universal has us covered with the Island Nectar Refresher. You can find this in the Coke Freestyle Machines that are located throughout Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, and CityWalk.

The Island Refresher combines Strawberry Lemonade with Hi-C Orange and Peach Sprite. This is really delicious!
Lastly, there are two new meals, the Casado Burger and the Wings with Island Rice. You can find these at Burger Digs.
We are going to let Chef Robert Martinez, Jr. tell you a little bit more about the food that was created for the VelociCoaster. You can view the full video below:
