As Walt Disney World Resort continues its phased reopening — and returns to normal operations — following last year’s COVID-19 closure, experiences, including fireworks, are returning on a frequent basis. Now, an EPCOT attraction that has been closed since Disney World reopened to Guests in July 2020 is once again available! If you enjoy Project Tomorrow, you’ll be glad to know that the futuristic space has once again opened its doors.

Project Tomorrow is officially described as:

After your journey through Spaceship Earth, explore the latest in high-tech science.

Assemble a digital human body using technology developed to perform remote surgeries. Hit the road in a driving simulation game that demonstrate accident avoidance systems. Take a peek at groundbreaking medical diagnostics for your home.

You can even view the video from the future you made while riding through Spaceship Earth—and email it to family and friends from a Project Tomorrow kiosk!

The space provides a fun and educational activity for families and Guests of all ages. As Walt Disney World Resort continues to prepare for its 50th anniversary celebration, which officially begins on October 1, 2021, it is unsurprising to see activities continue to reopen across all four theme parks — EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The World Showcase will remain, but Guests have updates to look forward to there, too! The France pavilion, in particular, will look different with the addition of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, a highly-anticipated ride based on the Ratatouille: The Adventure attraction at Disneyland Paris’s Walt Disney Studios Park.
