Sometimes, Guests are surprised by Cast Members, which are known as magical moments in the Disney community. Well, some Guests staying at Art of Animation are receiving magical moments as they realized they have been upgraded rooms!

Reddit user FirstResult1 took to the platform to share an exciting magical moment that happened recently. They were set to stay in one of the The Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation, but when they got their room number, they realized they were upgraded to a Cars family suite!
So my mom and I are on the way down and were in the Chick-fil-A drive thru when we got our room number. We were set to stay in a little mermaid room at Art of Animation and we got upgraded to a Cars Family Suite!! I’ve never stayed in a family suite, we are super pumped!
This is a pretty big upgrade as The Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation are basic Resort rooms while the Cars rooms are considered family suites, meaning they are much bigger and even have separate rooms within the suite. This includes a living/seating area, a separate bedroom, and more.
Additionally, the price difference between these two rooms is pretty drastic. For example, if a party of two were to stay in one of the The Little Mermaid rooms from August 7-13, 2021, it would cost about $231 per night while the Cars family suite for the same days would cost $506 per night. This is not the first time a Guest has shared a magical moment like this. In fact, not long ago we reported that Disney World Guests shared on social media that their Walt Disney World reservations booked at All-Star Movies Resort were being upgraded to a Deluxe Resort — Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa!
