Disney fans all over social media are sharing their best Disneyland life with the world. Since Disneyland Resort reopened on April 30, Disneyland Park has been filled with happy Guests, who have finally gotten back to the magic after a year-long pandemic-related closure.
We now have more good news to share, as we have confirmation that Guests will be able to score points on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters very soon as refurbishments have been completed.
This is excellent news for those who have been following California theme park news, as many pandemic-related restrictions in the state are expected to lift on June 15. This will allow more Guests to enjoy all of the attractions that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have to offer!

To Infinity and Beyond!
Similar to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, Disney Guests help our beloved astronaut friend Buzz Lightyear on a galactic adventure. For those who have not yet experienced this Toy Story inspired Disneyland attraction, Disneyland’s website shares:
The Evil Emperor Zurg is stealing batteries to power a new weapon of destruction, and Buzz Lightyear—from the Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story movies—needs your help!
Maneuver your XP-40 space cruiser through the shadowy Gamma Quadrant and beyond. Face down Zurg and his rampaging squad of robots and fire at will! Use the joystick to spin a full 360 degrees and blast glowing “Z” targets with your laser cannon to earn points.
Do you have what it takes to stop Zurg before it’s too late? The fate of the toy world is in your hands!

Track your points on the electronic dashboard in your space cruiser. At the end of your mission, see your new Star Command ranking based on the points you earned. The lowest rank is the humble Space Cadet, but advanced players may even reach the highest rank—Galactic Hero!
