Universal Orlando Resort is a popular theme park due to its combination of beloved IPs and cutting-edge new technology. From E.T. to Back to the Future, to Jaws, toJurassic Park, each of these films have characters that appeal to a wide audience in an even wider age bracket.
These IPs have become timeless, and even though there are plenty of new IPs being introduced like the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, The Simpsons, Transformers, and more, Guests still love the classics! A lot of the classic IP rides have left the parks, however, remnants still remain.
From photo-ops with the Back to the Future DeLorean to the Jurassic Park T-Rex, there are tons of nostalgia-inducing areas for Guests to enjoy. One classic photo spot that many Guests may remember from trips to Universal is the Jaws area. Just by the San Fransisco dock, Guests can take a picture with a captured Bruce. Personally, I like to pretend he is still alive and biting off my neck, but that may not be the most lovely photo to look at.

It really does act like one of the final remnants of Jaws, since the attraction was taken away to make room for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is why it was so sad to see it go! During the pandemic, we saw Bruce disappear, as he was no longer hanging upside down on the wooden beams.

If you never rode Jaws, here is a quick description of the attraction that had Guests screaming on every ride.
Jaws was a theme park attraction based upon the films of the same name. The attraction places guests aboard tour boats for what should be a leisurely tour of Amity Harbor, but instead becomes a harrowing chase between the craft and a very determined great white shark. Jaws is an expanded version of a famous scene on the long-running backlot tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, also inspired by the film, and can be found at Universal Studios Japan near Osaka, and formerly, at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando.

The attraction is based on the 1975 film Jaws starring:
Jeffrey Kramer Jeffrey Kramer as Hendricks (as Jeffrey C. Kramer)
Susan Backlinie Susan Backlinie as Chrissie
We are glad to see Bruce, the monster of the sea, return to his rightful home so that we can now order an Ocean Attack Jaws-themed drink while snapping a photo!
